recent events

　現在の関心分野は，econometricsおよびfield workの手法を応用したempirical analysis，（法）ルールと社会の関わり合い。法学者である以前に，できるだけ客観的な議論を展開できる社会「科学」者であろうと心がけています。
　伝統的な法学に見られるように，抽象的な法理論を振り回したり演繹的な解釈論を展開したりすることは面白いとは考えておらず，興味があるのはむしろ人間――人間行動や社会の構造のメカニズム――です。人や社会を研究しているときに，たまたま法も対象に入ってきているだけのことなので，法に対するこだわりはほとんどありません。大学の講義で担当させられているしているのが商法系科目なので，そちらの研究が自動的に多くなっています。けれども，それ以外の分野であっても研究対象に含まれます。
