Introduction

Research Center of Advanced Studies on Law and Policy was established at School of Law, Tohoku University in April, 2003 to promote research and develop educational methods on law and policy, to collect and analyze latest information of legal practice and policy making, and to facilitate highly advanced research based on demand of the real world of law and policy in practice.

Today, in collaboration with two professional schools, Law School and .School of Public Policy founded in April 2004, we are actively engaged in research and educational activities, inviting scholars and practitioners from over the world .as an institution for those interested in interaction of academics and practicing lawyers and policy experts.
