Gender Law and Policy Center of Tohoku University is a research center on law and gender equality, hosted under the 21st Century Centers of Excellence Program initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It was established within Tohoku University, Sendai in 2003, with two overseas offices in Paris and New York. The goal of this Center is to promote research and training in academic fields relating to law and gender.
